Halloween is tomorrow. What are your plans? I heard there is the world’s largest street fair going on in West Hollywood. People from all around the world dress up and walk the streets while showing off their fabulous costumes. Halloween fans prepare their hair, makeup, and costumes weeks ahead. It’s definitely worth checking out while you are in town. Here are the details….

Another hot event happening Halloween of 2012 is the celebration of a special day – Dia de los Muertos. It is a Mexican holiday which celebrate the dead. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died.

Why Bobby Brown Left Whitney Houston's Funeral?

Here is the scoop! So Bobby Brown finally gets invited to Whitney Houston’s funeral. Now mind you that they were in a 14 year abusive relationship that ended very bitterly. Whitney Houston ended up getting full custody of there only daughter Bobbi-Kristina. Today Bobby Brown shows up to the funeral with 9 other guests. He requests that they all sit with him in the “family only” section. The family didn’t allow anyone but Bobby Brown to sit in that section. Bobby Brown was not pleased with the request so he left with his entourage. Thoughts?

In a statement put out by his representative, he explained, “My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.

“I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move,” he said. “Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”

Basketball News - JR Smith tweets he is a Knick!

Is it true that JR Smith tweeted that he is Knick? Yes! He will be reuniting with a former Denver teammate Carmelo Anthony to provide more scoring punch.

Team is denying having a deal yet, but JR Smith tweeted “New York Knicks it is!” on Friday morning on his twitter account.

Smith is a streaky shooter with deep range and has averaged 12.5 points in the NBA since he was the No. 18 pick by the Hornets in the 2004 draft. He will be leaving the Nuggets where he spent the last 5 seasons scoring more than 15 points per game.

ESPN News – Gary Carter dies of brain cancer

The Kid, the 11-time all-star catcher who never failed to bring total enthusiasm and joy to a baseball field in his entire life. Carter was the first truly great player for the Montreal Expos — the team that spawned the Washington Nationals — and he was the heart and soul of the 1986 Mets team that won one of the most memorable World Series in baseball history.

Carter died Thursday at age 57, nine months after being diagnosed with brain cancer. When the news broke last spring that Carter had tumors on his brain and that the prognosis was about as bad as it could get, there was an overwhelming sadness among baseball people. But there was also a sense that if anybody could beat an unbeatable disease, it would be The Kid, because that’s who he was his entire life.

RIP Gary Carter.
